This model is built very near actual scale. The model features animated propellers and other animateable features such as landing gear, landing gear doors, rudder, elevators, ailerons, inboard and outboard split flaps that come alive. It's fully textured with intricate exterior and cockpit details. It comes in Max2014, 3DS, and Obj formats. Exported formats (3ds and obj) are carefully prepared to work seamlessly with every standard modeling software. Compatibility level may be limited with other software programs however. Textures are included with all files. This model is built for use in in-flight animations and video or simulation projects. It can also be used to populate an airport scene. The SNJ (US Navy), USMC (US Marine Corps), Harvard was designed by North American Aircraft. It served as a single-engine advanced pilot trainer for the US Navy, Marines and other allied forces during World War II. It also saw service as a photo recon and spotter aircraft. After the war many were sold to third world countries and remained in service with air forces around the world until the 1970s. Most were retired from active service in the 1950s and sold as surplus to civilian pilots who used them as aerobatic trainers and for air shows. Today, the AT-6, SNJ and T-6 are owned by hundreds of private individuals who take great care in maintaining and flying these aircraft.
