The F-86 Sabre was a single-seat transonic jet fighter of the US Air Force during the Korean War, characterized by its swept wing and tail. As the only fighter that could counter North Korea's MIG 15, it played a significant role in air superiority. Its jet turbine engine ensured maneuverability and reliability in combat. Designed between the mid-to-late 40s, production started in '49, resulting in 7,800 aircraft built by '56. The last operational F-86 was retired by Bolivia in '94. With over 9,800 examples produced across US, Canadian, and Australian manufacturers, it became the most prolific western jet fighter. A fully updated version includes higher quality textures and slightly increased polygon count. It comes with animateable control surfaces, landing gear, doors, canopy, elevators, flying stabilizer, and rudder, offering versatility for gaming, video, or visualization purposes.
