The F-86 Sabre was a US Air Force transonic jet fighter featuring a swept wing, stabilizers, and tail. As the primary air superiority aircraft during the Korean War, it countered North Korea's MIG 15s. This single-engine jet boasted high maneuverability, reliability, and combat success, with production beginning in 1949 and lasting until 1956, totaling 7,800 units. Last operational F-86s were retired by Bolivia in 1994. A prolific jet fighter, over 9,800 were built across US, Canada, and Australia.
