The F-86 Sabre was a single-seat jet fighter, key to U.S. Air Force air superiority during the Korean War. Its mid-late '40s design featured a swept wing, stabilizers, and tail; it could counter North Korea's MIG 17. Powered by a single jet turbine engine, it was reliable, maneuverable, and successful in combat. Produced between 1949 and 1956, over 7800 aircraft were built. The last operational F-86 fighters retired in 1994 with Bolivian Air Force. With over 9800 examples built by US, Canadian, and Australian manufacturers, it was the most prolific jet fighter in Western history. A recent update includes fully textured models with higher quality materials and slightly increased polygon count. Additional versions have been added to the series, featuring animateable control surfaces, landing gear, doors, and canopy. Built near-to-scale with detailed features, it's adaptable for gaming, video, or visualization purposes. It includes textures and materials as shown, available in multiple formats for downloading.
