The F-86 Sabre was a US Air Force transonic jet fighter featuring a swept wing, stabilizers, and tail. Pivotal during the Korean War, it countered North Korea's MIG 15s. With a single jet turbine engine, it boasted high maneuverability and reliability in combat. Developed from mid-1940s to 1949, 7,800 F-86 Sabres were produced till 1956.
