The North American F-100 Super Sabre was a supersonic jet fighter used by the USAF from 1954 to 1971 and the ANG until 1979. It served in Vietnam as a low-level bomber supporting ground forces. The F-100F, meanwhile, was a two-seat training version with reduced armament from four to two cannons.
