This model is built extremely close to actual scale. The model has a fully functional propeller that can be animated, along with other animateable features including retractable landing gear, rudder, elevators, ailerons, split flaps and more. It's completely textured and includes an abundance of exterior and cockpit details. The model is available in Max2014, 3DS, and Obj formats for seamless use in various software applications. Exported formats (3ds and obj) are prepared with precision to work perfectly with every standard modeling program on the market. Compatibility level with other software may be limited. Previews were rendered using 3dsmax's standard scanline rendering capabilities. The AT-6 was a heavily armed version of the T-6 Texan aircraft produced by North American Aircraft. It served as both a trainer and ground support attack aircraft for various military forces during World War II, including the Army Air Forces, Navy, Marines and other allied nations. The armed version typically featured two 30-caliber machine guns mounted in the nose of the cockpit, along with one or two more machine guns positioned in the rearward-facing gunner's seat. These aircraft were sold as surplus to civilian pilots after World War II and were used for training purposes, aerobatic performances and air show displays. Today, the AT-6 and T-6 are owned by private individuals who have lovingly restored them to their former glory.
