This model is built with remarkable precision to actual scale specifications. The model boasts an animated propeller and a wide range of animateable features including retractable landing gear, functional landing gear doors, a movable rudder, elevators that pitch and yaw, ailerons that roll the aircraft, inboard and outboard split flaps that control lift, and intricate cockpit details. It is fully textured to provide an incredibly realistic exterior and interior experience. The model comes in three popular formats: Max2014, 3DS, and Obj. The AT-6 Texan was a heavily armed version of the T-6 trainer aircraft designed by North American Aircraft. During World War II, it played a vital role as both a trainer and ground support attack aircraft for the Army Air Forces, Navy, Marines, and other Allied forces. The armed variant (AT-6) typically featured two powerful 30-caliber machine guns mounted in the nose just forward of the cockpit and one or two additional 30-caliber machine guns positioned in the rear-facing gunner's seat. After World War II, surplus AT-6 aircraft were sold to civilian pilots who used them as trainers, aerobatic planes for air shows, and also restored many to their original condition. Today, both the AT-6 and T-6 are proudly owned by private collectors and enthusiasts.
