Every choice made within this miniature scene is deeply rooted in legend. The "R" rune, visible from only two vantage points, serves as the iconic Bifrost Bridge. This rune is known as "Raido," a term that signifies journey or travel. A branch of Yggdrasil, the mighty World Tree, supports part of the rune-Bifrost, as the tree connects nine realms and the Bifrost serves as a means to traverse Midgard. The rocky plinth draws inspiration from Icelandic hexagonal rocks found in Iceland, Ireland, and Scotland: Each location boasts its own myth surrounding these rocks, adding an additional layer of mythological depth to the plinth. This project remains a work-in-progress. A duplicate plinth sits discreetly in the background, a precautionary measure in case something goes awry.
