This year, we chose to learn cross-country skiing and enrolled in a class. Our instructor emphasized the importance of binding skis together for easy transportation. I opted not to use a rubber band and instead created a custom solution. With dimensions of 55mm x 45mm, it stands 20mm tall with 5mm thick walls. You can download and print the instructions; a 45-degree solid fill is recommended, although a lesser fill might suffice.
