Nonna Luisa Ravioli Press

My Mother-In-Law Was Fed Up With The Ravioli Presses On The Market, So I Decided To Take Matters Into My Own Hands. She Had A Custom-Made Press Made By My Father-In-Law Years Ago Using A CNC Machine, But Unfortunately, No One Kept The Design, So I Had To Recreate It From Scratch With Some Upgrades. This Time Around, The New And Improved Ravioli Press Will Be 3D Printed And Coated In Food-Safe Epoxy. The Design Is Specifically For A 2x6 Ravioli Press, But The Good News Is That You Can Configure It To Fit Various Sizes, And The Best Part? You Can Stack Multiple Prints Using Magnetic Inserts, Which Means You Can Make Whatever Size Press You Need, Regardless Of Your 3D Printer's Bed Size. I Designed The Ravioli Press In OpenScad, Making Sure It's Fully Parametrized So You Can Adjust Just About Every Dimension To Suit Your Needs. Whether You're A Pasta Enthusiast Or Just Starting Out, This Ravioli Press Is Sure To Be A Game-Changer. This Saves Time And Ensures More Robust Filling. You Can Download The Separate STL File For The Molding Tray. Update 3/24/2019: I Made Some Changes To The Design To Allow For Magnets To Be Glued In, Which Enables You To Chain Together Multiple Presses To Create A Long Press. This Is Perfect If You Have A Dough Machine Like A Kitchenaid That Produces Long Dough. Update 3/6/2019: I Introduced A New Option Called 'tab_size', Which Leaves Two Small Tabs (2mmx2mm) When Cutting The Ravioli. This Is Handy If You Freeze Your Pasta After Making It, As It Keeps The Pasta Evenly Spaced Until It Freezes. Simply Break The Tabs By Hand For Putting Pasta In A Ziplock Or Cooking. Update 2/28/2019: I Added A Large Version Of The Ravioli Press That Can Accommodate 10 Raviolis In A Single Press, And I Also Improved The Design's Printability So It No Longer Requires Support.
