Non Woven Unwinder for Facemask Production In 1999 we pioneered the development of an unwinding system tailored to meet the specific needs of large-scale facemask production. Our solution was part of a comprehensive production process for surgical mouth caps, and it's now available as a free download. The Non-Woven Unwinder (NWU) project is designed for use with 800mm OD traverse spooled non-woven materials. This technology is open-source, allowing anyone interested to access the complete design files. The NWU project was created using Autodesk Inventor 2020, and you can find more information on our website at https://pica-ic.eu.
