Non-return valve for cooker hood
prusaprinters
The center of gravity is slightly more in closed position, which means, the back valve can be fixed in vertical position. Can be installed in horizontal position as well.In vertical position, you may need to add some weight. I glued a magnet to moving part and nut glued to static part, then in nut is a screw, which can reduce/increase the magnetic force of moving part.It works very well on our kitchen hood in vertical position for several weeks now.Diameter is 117mm, so in pipe with outer dia 120mm fits perfectly. To fix it in place, i used a hot glue gun.To connect moving and static part you can use a wire with diameter 1mm (welding wire for example). Print it just like it is in stl without support and to complete it, turn the moving part over 180° (same as screenshot from Fusion) If you want, i can add photo of printed valve with magnet and screw, but now i am too lazy to take down cooker hood :D
