Non-Jamming Filament Joiner
thingiverse
Human: Connects two 1.75mm Bowden tubes together in a way that prevents filament jams.\r\n\r\nThe secret to success lies not in this part, but rather in how well the Bowden tube is handled!\r\nUse an angled drill bit ([like this](https://drillsandcutters.com/sm42-1-8-x-7-16-cone-pointed-end-carbide-burr-1-8-shank/)) to enlarge the hole of the bottom (output) Bowden tube. If it's not enlarged, you're leaving room for filament to jam!\r\n\r\nSee pic for how the angled output Bowden tube should look.\r\n\r\nPrint on the highest quality your printer can produce to avoid any problems. Expert tip: watch [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIkT8asT90A) on "Magic numbers" to find a better layer height to print at. Most printers perform better at 0.08mm than 0.1mm because it aligns with the steps on the stepper motor.
