non-iambic key
thingiverse
I was tinkering with a portable radio setup and needed a compact key that could be easily discarded. Simply print the model, attach a hacksaw blade and a few screws, and you've got yourself a functional keyer - it's not the most advanced one out there, but for about $1 in parts and some 3D printing effort, it gets the job done. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: X-Carve Rafts: Optional Supports: Yes Resolution: High Infill: 30% Notes: I managed to get a working prototype on the first try, so I didn't invest much time in refining the design. If I were to revisit it, I'd route the cable instead of using a zip tie. There are other designs available on thingiverse for those who prefer a squeeze paddle. Post-Printing
