Nolan N43 Visor Cap
thingiverse
I recently misplaced the cap for my Nolan N43 helmet's visor hinge. Fortunately, a replacement part costs around 10 Euros, but I've got a 3D printer, so I decided to take on the challenge. To ensure a sturdy result, I recommend printing this design using a stiffer material like ABS or PET - PLA works too, but the small pin inserts may deform, causing the cap to fall out during visor operation. Supports are also necessary; I've uploaded the gcode file for those who need it, as some slicers tend to generate supports that touch the build plate. The design is flat, which might seem unusual at first, especially since the original has spokes. However, this simplification reduces drag and noise during visor operation. One advantage of a flat cap is that you can easily attach horns to it; just search Thingiverse for those designs.
