This is a custom dock for my trusty Nokia 6.1 smartphone. As a hands-on exercise, I designed this dock to meet my needs and test its functionality. Happily, it serves as an effective dock, but my ultimate goal is to craft a specialized car phone dock that meets my specific requirements. My plan involves using a similar holder design without the base, substituting it with a GoPro-style mount integrated into the back for secure attachment to a custom dash-mounted bracket. I designed this dock specifically to accommodate my phone in its current case, which I obtained from Amazon at an affordable price (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C9S32MW/). The USB-C cables I chose were also sourced from Amazon and surprisingly exceeded my expectations, boasting a high-quality cable and metal fittings on the ends.
