The Noisy Cricket is a compact, pistol-like weapon featuring a small grip and pointed barrel. It discharges an energy orb with a cricket-like sound but generates a strong recoil that might topple an unprepared user. The recoil can be reduced via suppression, albeit at the expense of power. MIB's rookie initiation practice involves betting on how far the newbie will fly due to the gun's recoil, although this is discouraged under the 'No Hazing' policy. There are two versions from Men in Black and Men in Black II, with dimensions varying slightly. The original was 125.4mm long, 38.6mm wide, and 78.4mm high, while the MIB II model measured 134.9mm in length, same width and height.
