This is an entertaining toy designed specifically for toddlers and pets alike. The ball produces a delightful noise as it rolls along. To create this engaging toy, you'll need the following components: 2 spherical halves (either smooth or bumpy, or one of each) 1 inner sphere (also either smooth or bumpy) 4 locator pins Adhesive to secure everything in place Print settings aren't crucial, but you'll likely require supports. I printed mine with 4 outer layers and 20% infill. You may need even more robust settings for this design to withstand rough handling by children. Using multi-color PLA adds a visually appealing touch to the toy's appearance. To ensure a seamless connection between the two spherical halves, sand the joining area until it's smooth. This will help create a strong bond when gluing the components together. The locator pins serve as a helpful guide for aligning the halves while applying adhesive. Be sure to secure the entire area, not just the pins, to prevent the ball from splitting apart when dropped or thrown.
