Noise Reduction Y Axis Motor Mount for Anet A6/A8

I wanted to minimize the noise emanating from my Anet A6 and identified the Y motor as its primary source. I decided to create a motor mount that could be printed in Flex/TPU to see if it would significantly reduce the noise levels. And, I was impressed by the results! The motor vibration is thoroughly absorbed by the mount, rendering it remarkably quiet. I experimented with various infill settings and found 20% or 30% to be the most effective. With the filament I'm using, anything higher caused the mount to become overly rigid and transfer a considerable amount of vibration to the base where my printer is mounted. Start by testing lower infill settings and adjust as needed. With this new mount in place, I now have noise levels comparable to those of the X axis, without any issues with print quality. I hope this design helps make your Anet A6 less noisy :). This mount is specifically designed to be attached to a base, not the original structure of the Anet A6. The shorter side houses the motor pulley. Use washers on the screws to prevent them from getting stuck in the mount. Ensure that the mount does not touch the printer's original structure!!!. THIS MOUNT MUST BE PRINTED IN FLEX/TPU!!!
