This is an enclosure box designed specifically for Nodemcu ESP8266 and mh-z16 CO2 sensor, where the legs fit perfectly and securely hold both components in place. The box features two separate compartments, carefully divided to prevent heat from affecting the sensitive CO2 sensor and to maximize its reading accuracy. A series of intricate rib-shaped holes is strategically placed around the enclosure to allow for a continuous flow of fresh air directly to the sensor, while also effectively cooling down the ESP module. The front face of the box boasts a sleek and minimalist design, ensuring it will blend seamlessly with any surrounding furniture. I am providing two versions of this enclosure: one featuring a clean, unadorned design, and another that includes an additional small chamber for temperature sensing capabilities using the bmp180 sensor. In this second version, the bmp180 is carefully positioned to avoid any potential heat influences from both the Nodemcu ESP8266 board and the CO2 sensor, which tends to generate more heat than the ESP module in modem-sleep mode. I hope that this enclosure box proves useful for anyone looking to create a reliable and accurate CO2 sensing setup. I will be posting high-quality print photos of these designs soon, allowing you to see the details up close.
