NodeMCU and BME680 Case
thingiverse
Designed a custom case that seamlessly integrates a NodeMCU and BME680 into one compact package, expanding on jperson's original design found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2850128 by extending its length to 89 mm and narrowing it down to 30 mm. A dedicated 6-pin row was added for the BME680 to be installed perpendicular to the NodeMCU pins, ensuring optimal connectivity. Additionally, strategically placed vent holes in the cover allow for efficient airflow around the sensor, guaranteeing accurate readings over time. After testing these units for a few days, they have proven to work flawlessly and provide excellent airflow for the BME680 sensor. For anyone looking to take this design further, I've included the FreeCAD file as a starting point.
