NodeMcu and 5v Single Channel Relay Enclosure

NodeMcu and 5v Single Channel Relay Enclosure

thingiverse

I have an ESP8266 Module ESP-12E NodeMcu LUA WiFi and a single channel 5V relay switch. I needed something to hold the parts together firmly because I built this into an internet remote control for my garage door opener. It worked well and the lid snaps on tightly, but it was hard to take apart. UPDATE: I made a second version of the lid without pegs. They work, but some printers might not be able to print them correctly. On the second version, there is a extending tab that will get close to the NodeMCU and keep it from moving around. I didn't add one on the relay side because I planned to use hot glue. You may notice that the relay is slightly off center. I wanted the relay to be pinched to the side for stability, which was my design choice. I hope you enjoy this very specific project box. I'm thinking about making some wings so you can screw down this project box. Let me know if there's any interest.
