Node MCU and PIR Box
thingiverse
This is a remix of Finch's "parametric rounded sliding top box v1.1". It fits a NodeMCU with a PIR that appears to be facing forward. Inside the box are stands for securing the NodeMCU in place. The PIR fits snugly, requiring removal of its lens component and clipping it into position from within the box before installing any electronics or additional components. This is due to the space occupied by the NodeMCU stands. There is sufficient clearance beneath the NodeMCU for Dupont cables to be connected to its pins, as shown in my accompanying photographs. I printed this design using black PLA and applied a grey primer for added finish. As with all of my Things on Thingiverse, I have included the OpenSCAD file for further modification and experimentation. Enjoy remixing this design and feel free to share your creations!
