Warnings: - This guide does not guarantee success; if something goes wrong, you're on your own. - Some cable management/ziptie mounts might need to be flattened slightly. - The design hasn't been fully optimized yet. This mod requires: - A non-SFX or possibly a non-modular power supply. - An M3/M4 drill bit. - A drill. - Two M3/M4 screws, 1cm long (not 11mm). - Two M3/M4 nuts. Possibly useful: - Files to clean up the printed parts. This mod supports up to six 2.5" 7mm thick drives and also works with thicker ones (15mm). It even includes a bonus 40x40x10 mm fan space (requires additional modifications) to keep them cool. Guide: 1) Remove the hard drive caddy. 2) Mark the 70mm gap between the PSU and internal support bracket on the outer frame with two straight vertical lines. You can first apply painter's tape for better visibility. 3) Place the base between the two lines and mark the center of each hole. 4) Drill a 3mm wide (1.5mm diameter) hole. 5) Almost done, put the base from the inside, add all the drives you want, and secure it with two M3 1cm long screws and nuts in place. If you want to add a fan, you'll have to modify the entire front of the case and create a path for the fan cable - good luck, you're on your own. Four months later, and it still works well.
