This panoramic adapter was designed specifically for use with a monopod to capture 360° x 180° spherical panoramas. I've had success using a EOS 5D Mark IV and the Walimex 12mm Fisheye lens, but you'll need to ensure that your equipment is set up correctly to minimize parallax error. A 15mm circular level attached to one of the monopod's clips will help keep the entrance pupil in the same spot while rotating the camera. Figuring out the correct angles was a challenge, but it was worth it. To secure the camera in place, you'll need a 1/4" screw. The adapter also requires an M10 screw to attach it to a standard spigot on your monopod. I use a large Manfrotto monopod or a Rollei carbon travel-tripod that can be converted into a monopod. With this setup, you should take six images while rotating 60° each time, plus one picture taken from the ground level. For stitching panoramas, I recommend using Ptgui, which is my go-to program for this task.
