Noctua on E3D Hotend

Noctua on E3D Hotend

Mounting a Noctua fan on a hotend is not an unusual task. However, having no heat-resistant filament for shroud printing and still wanting to mount it anyway prompted me to design this simple adaptor. This device allows you to reuse the original fan shroud and screws easily. You can quickly cut the screws to fit the depth of the holes using a wirecutter. In this instance, it's a NF-A4x20 5V fan on a 24-volt printer with a 5-volt fan outlet. Feel free to use whatever fan fits your printer perfectly. I highly recommend soldering the wires together if you need to extend them. Now I can sit comfortably next to my printer without getting tired from the noise. It's about time I did this. I should have done it much earlier, that's for sure. Edit: Made a few minor changes and added new files on January 31, 2020.
