Noctua NF-A20 Ceiling Mounting Frame
thingiverse
##Description:## I created a custom Fan-Mount for the great Noctua NF-A20 Fan to use it as a ceiling/roof fan and tried to make use of the rubber dampeners of the fan as much as possible. You do not need to use all mounting holes, but you can ofc. There is a NF-A20-Joiner available too to be able to add as many NF-A20s together as you like. You can see the part on the real-world pictures and you will need extra screws and washers if you want to use it obviously. If you have problems or suggestions for improvements, feel free to leave a comment. :) ##Important Note## The mount is made for a blow-configuration, away from the ceiling and wall. If you want to mount the fan in the other direction like i did in the pictures, you have to modify the cable-outlets a little bit. (Can be done with a wire-cutter after print.) ##Non 3D-Printed Parts used:## ###Fan Mounting:### - 4x M2x20 Hex-Socket Head-Cap-Screws (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07G195N1Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - 8x M3x12 Hex-Socket Head-Cap-Screws (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07G195N1Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - 8x M2x4 Threaded Inserts for 3D-Printing (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08K1BVGN9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - 8x M3x5.7 Threaded Inserts for 3D-Printing (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08K1BVGN9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - Some washers for M2 and M3 Screws to use as much rubber as possible for mounting (See pictures 1&2) ###Ceiling- and Wall Mounting:### - 8x 3.5mm wood screws with Countersunk-Head ##Release Notes:## - V1: Initial Release
