My Custom Door Hook and Button Pusher Design I created this door hook and button pusher specifically to enable people to perform various tasks outside without touching frequently used surfaces like elevator buttons, door handles, or even tapping on pin pads. This design joins numerous others similar in concept but distinct in execution. When using this tool, make sure to sanitize it regularly. Viruses such as COVID-19 and bacteria can survive on plastic for at least a couple of days; however, soap and water or an alcohol wipe should effectively eliminate them. Remember, hand hygiene is crucial for your health. I may update the design in future versions as I continue to refine it, but this version is stable enough for me to share with others. You can find two variations here: one with text and another without. The texted version may add a bit more time to the print due to its increased complexity, but I printed at .2mm layer height and 100mm/s. These designs are versatile and can be printed at various speeds; they only require 10% infill for adequate strength. For added sturdiness, you can opt for 100% infill or more. It's highly recommended to use 3-4 (or more) top/bottom layers to ensure a robust print.
