Originally, this work-in-progress dates back to 2009, with a first frame from Shapeways in 2010. Finally, it was made for FDM this year. Despite seeming uninnovative nowadays, it was unique at that time; the creator laughs about it. The design has been significantly modified and is now screw-/glue-/tape-free. It's a simple print-and-clip-in components model, crash-resistant and robust. An STL of the latest test print is included, but customization is required for specific parts. The landing gear needs improvement in durability, which will be addressed in future versions. Print upside-down or rotate 45 degrees on a small printbed (UP). Adjust infil according to desired frame rigidity or lightness. The setup includes a KK-Board from Hobbyking, 5g/10g brushless motors, Turnigy Plush 6A, 2/3S 500mAh LiPo + RubberBand, a cheapo 2.4GHz 6CH rX, and an AirAce 3-blade propeller (avoid full throttle on 3S with these). Some challenges remain, such as fine-tuning settings for small drones, extending motor holders based on prop size, organizing wiring in the electronics compartment, strengthening landing gear, and testing the camera holder.
