no-PTFE brass hot-end
thingiverse
The MK4 extruder's hot-end modification eliminates the PTFE, which is susceptible to melting and swelling, from the heating element. It is based on the all-steel lampmaker's design but incorporates brass components from a failed MK4 hot-end along with homemade aluminum fins.
