The blue cube prop used in No Man's Sky that dispenses health, shield, or credits when interacted with was created from memory as a mere decoration. It illuminates beautifully when crafted with translucent material. If I had to estimate, I'd say it was approximately one-fifth scale when printed as is (see notes). I might upload a version with an LED hole if requested. Few updates have been made since the initial post. The model is now multi-material friendly! To accommodate this, I remade the mesh and split it up into separate parts. Additionally, I increased its size to 250%. The nested STL files will require you to be able to split the STL in your slicer (Slic3r has this feature built-in) and assign extruders to each section. The "In" and "Out" STLs are for more manual set-ups. Both versions, with and without LED holes, have 5.1mm holes in the center. If your slicer allows you to detect thin walls, you will likely need to turn it on (this should be enabled by default). All files have been tested and function as stated using Slic3r PE 1.4x.x.
