No drip, motorcyle chain luber
thingiverse
Magnets securely fasten pan and lubricator together, allowing for mess-free motorcycle chain lube applications. Designed specifically for the stock chain of a 2005 Honda Rebel (520x108), this setup ensures hassle-free maintenance. The spout on the pan has been redesigned to facilitate smoother pouring into waste containers. Rare earth magnets provide an exceptionally strong hold on both the lubricator and the pan, making additional securing measures unnecessary. A metal disk paired with a rare earth magnet could achieve similar results. Before applying lubricant, ensure that any solvents used for chain cleaning have fully dried up. Failure to do so may cause the lubricant to dissolve, as I experienced with my ABS-based formula. For optimal printing results, follow the image shown in #5, not the STL file specifications. This may require scaling your designs by 10 when importing them into your slicer, a common issue for users who draw in millimeters versus centimeters.
