I've got a non-contact IR thermometer from China that's already broken after only five uses. The trigger mechanism snapped, and it was pretty clear that the design had some major flaws. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and make an upgrade. Dear manufacturer, go ahead and use this improvement - I'm practically begging you! It prints with less than 1 gram of filament and is complete in under ten minutes.
