NMI 1958: 94 Bronze Age wooden training sword
sketchfab
This is a Bronze Age / Early Iron Age wooden sword likely employed for combat training, originating from Cappagh, Co. Kerry in Ireland, dated to the first quarter of the first millennium BC. A slight polishing can be seen on one side of the hilt and around the shoulders on the other side, possibly resulting from repeated handling before its breakage. The data was captured by Marina Milic and Barry Molloy with permission from the National Museum of Ireland, and a model was created based on that information.
