Nixie Tube Thermometer stand NT2RA
thingiverse
Found an incredible electronics kit on eBay using IN-14 nixie tubes as a temperature display combined with a bar graph nixie tube. The seller, tortugascuba, listed it as Nixie Thermometer Kit - Tubeless - 12VDC - PCB w/ Parts (No nixie, nor bargraph). I sourced the required tubes from US-based eBay sellers. I came up with a display stand in Fusion. After printing the parts, I attached the PLA bar graph mount pieces to the front using 3D Gloop PLA glue. Super Glue would also work great for the PLA parts. To keep the bar graph tube in place, I used a little Elmer's glue around where the glass and PLA touch. Then, I used a little black acrylic paint to highlight the tops of the raised letters on the stand. The stand-offs are sized for M3 screws. I had to run an M3 tap through the stand-offs to get the screws started. Be careful not to run the tap too deep and through the other side. I'm enjoying this project.
