Nixie Tube Clock Frame
thingiverse
I recently built and assembled a Nixie Clock Kit that I didn't design myself as a birthday present. Nevertheless, there's a large no-touch zone with 180 volts that's off-limits. With two kids running around, I decided to add extra safety features to prevent fingers from slipping into the danger area. This also helps block out stray light since I use it as a bedside clock. Polishing the ABS material and using it makes it reflect some light inside the clock, giving it a pretty cool effect. Black is a good choice, but I think translucent (t-glase or similar) filament would look really great too. If you buy one of those kits, make sure to get the acrylic frame as well because this frame relies on it to stay in place.
