Nixie Clock Case
thingiverse
You've got a fabulous Nixie Tube Clock kit from PV Electronics, right? It's so cool! Now you can add a fantastic retro-inspired case to make it even more awesome! The best part is that you can mix and match different insert profiles and colors to create your very own one-of-a-kind style. UPDATE: Many of you have been asking for the CAD files so you can customize this incredible clock, and I've finally uploaded them! Now that you've got the plans, let's get building! Follow these super easy instructions: First, print out three crucial parts - a Back Panel, a Bottom Frame, and a Top Cover. While you're at it, grab four Spacers and Front Insert 1. You'll also need to print three more Front Inserts, but this time it's number two! Next up, get six Side Inserts, but remember, it's number one for now. One thing to keep in mind is that your printer might not be 100% accurate, which means the insert tabs on those inserts might not fit perfectly into the Bottom Frame. No worries! Just grab some sandpaper and give them a little TLC so they slide right into place!
