Acquire some flat picture paper (A4 sheets, not glossy) and gently sand the exterior of the 3D components with 220-grit sandpaper. Next, apply contact glue like 'Bison Kit' to both the paper and the outside of the 3D parts, let it dry, then press them together until the glue sets.
