Hello! All components can be printed with PLA filament; there is also an SVG file available for the front, allowing users to utilize a plotter or laser cutter, as well as laser cutting the back and main case. The Nixie kit can be found on eBay, offering high-quality parts with excellent instructions and labeled components. I obtained mine at a discounted price when the seller first began offering it, but even at full price, this kit is worth every penny, especially for beginners; in fact, it's possibly the best kit I've ever assembled! https://www.ebay.nl/itm/Nixie-Tube-clock-KIT-on-IN-12/273502330102?hash=item3fae025cf6:g:paEAAOSw0G9bvJnn For a smooth finish, try this technique! Acquire some flat picture paper (A4 sheets, not glossy) and gently sand the exterior of the 3D components with 220-grit sandpaper. Next, apply contact glue like 'Bison Kit' to both the paper and the outside of the 3D parts, let it dry, then press them together until the glue sets. Finally, trim the edges and interior for a smooth finish before painting! https://youtu.be/luwGbq966qw The paint I used was as follows: To achieve the blue color, mix some Tamiya X14 (sky blue) with Tamiya X2 (white). You can use either a paint roller or an airbrush; if using an airbrush, be sure to thin the paint. Use Tamiya X-20A Thinner or create your own by mixing 30% isopropyl alcohol and 70% water. Vallejo Satin varnish was used as the finish coat. My Bill Of Materials consisted of: * 2 x 10mm tac switches * Metal mesh for the inside of the housing (leftover from a broken electric mosquito killer) * Some power wire, 22-24 AWG or equivalent * Nylon hex spacers to hold the PCB and back (CA glue can be used instead) * 4 x M3 nuts Note: My case had an initial design flaw where I couldn't screw the back in place; however, the files you are downloading have been updated to include correct screw holes. Additionally, the two white connectors for the tac switches are not necessary. That's all! Have a good day.
