Nixie base for nixie chess set

I've had an early Nixie chess set from Lasermad (http://www.lasermad.com/shop/product/nixie-chessboard-diy-kit-nixies-included/) which is a fantastic blend of art, electronics and game. It's the kind that you build slowly and carefully without any rush. One problem I encountered was in assembling the nixie tube coils. The parts included with my set didn't sit well when the bobbin was put together, meaning that many times as I wound the coil much of the magnet wire would push through the interface between the parts and mess up the entire winding process. This got to be frustrating enough that I designed this model as a one-piece replacement for the bobbin assembly.
