###These are parts for Nitramite NitSpec air rifle scope augmentation project. NitSpec scope augmentation project is a cost-effective system designed to calculate projectile flight paths to targets with precision accuracy. It leverages widely available components like Arduino, various sensors, servo motors, and range finders to enable automatic shooting on target when the operator is pointing at the correctly calculated point. The NitSpec app can also be used by spotters for efficient targeting. This project utilizes a smartphone as its processing unit and incorporates the phone's built-in sensors. An Android application is currently in working condition but has yet to undergo thorough real-life testing. I plan to conduct a testing run this summer, with positive results paving the way for the app's release on Google Play. The Android application was developed using the Android development environment and implements OpenCV for enhanced functionality. Future developments will involve integrating gun stand automation, allowing for remote control of the gun, as well as incorporating machine vision capabilities to enable automatic target shooting, similar to a sentry gun system. ###More details will be shared throughout the project's development process. ------ ###Current parts descriptions: ####Part name: scope_rail_hardware_mount.stl Description: This part connects to the 'Raspberry Pi Metal Case Shell', which can be sourced from Aliexpress or other online retailers. Please refer to the image 'pi_case' for a visual representation of this component. Unfortunately, the link where I purchased it is no longer active, so I am unable to share it here. This rail part will connect the pi case to the 21mm gun rail. ####Part name: hardware_case_platform.stl Description: This component will be glued to the pi case and serves as a connection point for the trigger wire. The hardware case platform includes all external electronics, including the servo motor. ####Parts name: trigger_wire_adapter_p1.stl and trigger_wire_adapter_p2.stl Description: These parts connect directly to the trigger mechanism. I used heat shrink tubing to attach the original trigger wire, ensuring a smooth fit. The p2 part is then screwed into place as a cover, securing the wire end and maintaining its connection. This assembly uses M3 bolts, with further details on these components forthcoming.
