I tried using the original design on my P99. It ended up flinging my NiteCore TIP down the range. This remix handles the stresses from my P99 quite well. I am now using this mount with my Nitecore instead of my StreamLight which was more than double the weight and used expensive non-rechargeable Lithium A123 batteries.
