It's an accessory for the Nitecore LA10. It blocks direct light from entering the eyes when the flashlight spins and shines in dark environments. This makes it easier to look behind the torch without discomfort. The results are impressive, especially since the cap is printed with a black primer. Very little light escapes from the back, as shown in the photo, providing a comfortable user experience.
