Nite Ize Steelie Clamping Bracket Fix

Nite Ize Steelie Clamping Bracket Fix

This is a design that will fix the Nite Ize Steeling Clamp style phone holder issues for good. The rubber inserts' gripping surface wears out in no time, causing the phone to slip and eventually fall out of the holder. Replacing the entire phone holder every few months can be costly. Without fixing this problem, the phone starts slipping downward and will inevitably drop straight out of the holder. This design has not been tested on similar style brackets, but it may work just as well. The support bracket was designed specifically for my Moto Z phone, but it should fit phones (with a case) up to 13 mm thick. A cutout in the bottom center allows you to use your USB port or audio adapter with this bracket. It's printed in TPU for flexibility and won't scratch up your phone case. Instructions: Print the design with supports. Place the hooks over wire rods on Steelie. Insert your phone, then clamp it closed. Your phone now has extra support.
