Nissan Xterra Ulti-Track Hook
thingiverse
Custom hook for Xterra rear Utili-track. I have this set up to accept a 1/4-20 threaded insert which I plan on epoxying and threading into place. Then, I'll use a 1/4-20 threaded rod and a flipper nut to secure it firmly into the t track. The 'v2' version of the part has the center hole opened up to 25/64. To accommodate this, I had to drill out the hole on the first version to get the insert to thread itself into place. Next, I chased the hole with the insert to thread, then filled the hole with epoxy and installed the insert, filled the insert center with epoxy, and installed a length of 1/4-20 rod. You can see photos for the finished product. I'll need to do some light sanding, but overall it looks (and will function) much better than the factory utili-track hook. The 'v3' version has some radii softened and the base radii reduced to get a better floor footprint. I added a flipper nut STL for use with this hook. The flipper is meant for the utili-track system and is 5/8" wide x 2.125". Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Z18 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 80%
