Nissan Xterra Bluetooth Switch Panel

Nissan Xterra Bluetooth Switch Panel

thingiverse

This is a replacement panel for the Nissan Xterra overhead Bluetooth microphone mount. Plenty of space exists behind this panel, making it an ideal spot to install rocker switches for lights, lockers, and other devices. Keep in mind that not all Xterras come with this overhead panel from the factory. The redesigned panel is minimalist and prints flat on its face, eliminating the OEM curve appearance. This design simplifies the process of mounting rocker switches. Holes are designed specifically for Carling Tech switches, but it will also fit various knock-offs from this brand. It's a snug fit, so you might need to shave down the sides or trim the nubs on top and bottom. Printing with supports yields the best results, ensuring the nubs come out correctly and don't sag. If your Xterra has the Bluetooth microphone mounted in this panel from the factory, it will need to be removed along with the black ABS plastic mounting block that holds it in place. Alternatively, you could remix the panel to include a cutout for the mic, allowing fewer switches to be installed - maybe 3 or 4 of them. In reality, the OEM mic is subpar and poorly positioned anyway, so relocating it would be beneficial.
