It's possible that other materials like PETG could also yield excellent results. To ensure durability, make sure to print this part with 100% infill. This is crucial since the tailgate will be subjected to repeated opening and closing actions. The original part was likely made of a hard and rigid plastic material, but I'm unsure what specific type it was.
