This adapter is designed specifically for Nissan Silvia (S15) vehicles, allowing you to replace your bulky air box with a sleeker MAF setup. The adapter features a simple MAF flange connected to a 3-inch inlet, making it easy to install and upgrade your engine's airflow. In my experience, using an older HKS Mushroom filter has been a great choice for this application - I've been running mine for about six months now without any issues. When printing the adapter, I opted for PETG, which has proven to be a durable material that can withstand the high temperatures found in the engine bay. If I were to do it again, however, I might consider using ABS instead, as it can be smoothed out to give the adapter a more precise fit and appearance. It's worth noting that this adapter does not come with mounting tabs, so you'll need to find alternative ways to secure it in place within the engine bay. Fortunately, my mushroom filter is quite large and fits snugly into the available space, but smaller filters may require additional support or mounting hardware to keep them securely in place.
