This custom cupholder perfectly fits into the recess typically occupied by the ashtray, which can be effortlessly pulled out. To ensure a smooth fit, the corners will require some gentle sanding to remove any rough edges. I designed this cup holder as a response to the inadequacies of standard holders, which are often too shallow and poorly located. This 3D printed cup holder excels at holding coffee cups with ease, but Pepsi bottles still perform better in their designated holders. To produce this cup holder, I utilized PETG, although PLA would also be an excellent choice – it was simply the material available on my printer at the time. Printing settings included a layer height of 0.2mm and support structures where necessary, particularly under the baseplate to account for the slightly sunken design.
