Nissan Navara cable holder
thingiverse
The designers at Nissan seemingly overlooked the design of the 12v outlet in the center console, releasing the car without thoroughly considering its functionality. When connecting a phone or other device to the outlet, a small slot is provided for cables to pass through. Nevertheless, every time you open the lid of the console, the cables are free to escape and must be carefully rearranged when closing it back up. However, things take a turn for the worse when cables frequently manage to escape the slot even when the lid is closed, becoming lodged in the locking mechanism and producing an unpleasant sound when opening - akin to plastic shattering (and it's likely that will happen eventually). I created a holder to keep cables securely in place within the designated slot. I have tested this with two USB cables, each measuring 3mm in diameter, and secured it using double-sided tape. The holder is designed specifically for Nissan Navara NP300 models from 2016, but it may also fit other vehicles. The circumference measures 10.8 cm in diameter, slightly smaller than a CD or DVD, meaning that if you measure with one of these discs, you'll have approximately 4mm of extra space.
